Catering General Information

For over 30 years, the University Club has been exceeding our guests’ needs
with first class food and priceless service. The University Club offers the most exquisite panoramic views of Shreveport–Bossier. The Club has meeting space
ideal for any size function. Whether you are looking to host your holiday affair,
book your business luncheon needs, or searching for that breath taking place to
have your wedding reception, the University Club is ready to accommodate you!
If you are looking to impress your most important clients or treat your sweetheart
to a romantic dinner above the city, the University Club is the perfect place!

Accommodations:
• Private Rooms are available for 8 people or more for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
• Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner up to 225 people seated in one room, up to 350
seated utilizing additional Club areas.
• Cocktail Parties & Wedding Receptions up to 600 people.
• Five separate dining rooms to choose your appropriate size.
• Our club offers the most unique and breathtaking views of downtown
Shreveport and the Red River out each and every window of our venue.
• Gold Chiavari Chairs are available to rent.

Menu / Event Planning
A preset menu is required for all parties of 11 or more guests. The club’s
Catering Director, Tiffany Morehead, will be happy to assist you in menu
planning and coordinating your event and helping you with the details such
as flowers, entertainment, audio visual equipment, etc. Breakfast and lunch
buffets are available at all inclusive prices and complimentary parking for
2 hours. Parking is complimentary in the evening; however, Valet parking
is available upon request.

A guaranteed number of guest attendees are required two working days in
advance of the event. Billing will be based on the guarantee number or the
actual number of guests served, which ever is greater.

Deposits
A $500.00 deposit is required to book all evening events of 100 guests or more.
A $250.00 deposit is required to book events under 100 guests. All deposits
will be applied towards the event's billing invoice and will be subtracted from
the total due. Deposits are twice the normal rate for events booked for the
month of December.

Room Fees

Room fees will apply if you are not a member of the University Club. Please
contact the Catering Director for those rates and policies.

Food and Beverage Minimums
Food and beverage minimums do apply for all events. If the minimum is not
met in food and beverage, the difference will be applied as a room charge.

Dress Code
The University Club's dress code for lunch is business casual and blue jeans.
No shorts or athletic wear allowed. For evening dining, jackets are required for
men, ties are optional. Dress for special events may vary.

Food & Beverage minimums will apply
for the Club to open during normal closure.
